Dr. Saeed Noibi
Saeed is a Health Evidence specialist with expertise in experimental and observational epidemiology. He has worked across all phases of clinical trials namely phase 1-Phase IV; outcomes research and, health economic evaluation. In relation to early phase clinical trials, Saeed has over 7 years’ experience in early phase clinical trials and particularly, phase 1 studies all gained in Europe whilst working on multi-national clinical trial programs. His pedigree in this respect include:
• Clinical Trials Associate (CTA) and later a Study Coordinator (Senior CTA) at Quintiles Drug Research Unit (GDRU) ,Guy’s Hospital in London . Extensive hands-on experience conducting varied and multiple phase 1 clinical trials procedures. GDRU is recognised internationally for its expertise in innovative Phase 1 study design with over 400 new small molecules and biologics.
• Senior Clinical Data Scientist at GSK Research and Development (R&D) Organisation mainly on early phase clinical trials in Respiratory and Oncology therapy Areas in which he gained numerous company awards in his work within clinical trials conduct teams. He also per took in translational studies, one of which was a pioneering imaging study. See publication below: He later became a Data Quality Lead (DQL) with end-end accountability for quality of data in multinational clinical trial programs.
• As a Senior Clinical Data Scientist, Saeed led the first GSK Oncology Clinical Trials on Electronic Data Capture (EDC) to completion. This was a Phase 1 dose escalation study. He was also a member of
• ‘Distinction’ in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Examination, accredited by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Royal College of Physician, United Kingdom.
Saeed has a Bachelor’s of Science degree with Honours in Human Physiology from King’s College London. He later completed a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the same University. He is the Health outcomes and Epidemiology Head in GSK in the GCC countries.
